1) Analyze geopolitics of Caucasians in the post Soviet period.
2) Recognize latent and actual conflict potentials and conflicts in the region.
3) Analyze energy resources in the region and energy politics of the dominant regional / global actors in Central Asia and Caucasians.
4) Recognize regional countries and especially the policies of Turkey and Russia towards the region.
5) Recognize ethnic structures, state-building understanding and economical dynamics in the region.
