1) SEAMANSHIP KNOWLEDGE a) Boat types and cconstruction elements. b) Motor - sailing boat equipment and rigging types. c) Deck equipments. d) Directions on boat. e) Ropes and nautical knotes. f) Nautical terms. g) Orders. h) Things to do in case of collision and grounding. i) Maintenance and upkeep of boar. 2) BOAT STEERING a) Factors that affects motor boat maneuver. b) Factors that affects sailing boat maneuver. c) Maneuvering by using anchor and rope. d) Steering. e) Sail cruising. f)Anchoring. g) Berthing unberthing. h) Maneuver of “Man Overboard” i) Usage of motor boat. j) Usage of sailing boat. k) Towing/ Being towed. 3) International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea Contents and applications of COLREG’s.
